Proseful Poetics – “Overwasteward” October 24, 2005

Posted by Matt Hurst in Uncategorized.

Such a beautiful scatter.
Mess strewn about the room
In perfect accidental arrangement
Mirroring my mind most being.
Candle lit scribbles on paper
Over cigareete smoke and gin,
Mind in lucid flutter like fire
Fueled by ether and emancipated.
Records and wires lay around;
Floor covered by scrap paper,
Like mixed memories spread across
The living room of life’s remains.
Flickered light left to illuminate
Ruminations of impressed theorems
Layed into practice to exercize
Superimpressions of cumulative existence,
Interconnected in physical surroundings,
Accumulated over time by impulse,
Accidentally discovered overnight,
Observed by looking back inward.
