Lost Post December 5, 2005

I lost the last post.
Here’s the synopsis:
I overthink things, and fixate often.
I was feeling very anxious last night.
I was having troubles without solution.
The radio was tuned to classical station.
A song came on that was sweet
It communicated to me harmonicly.
Filled with piano play melancholy
Then bombast of triumph beating.
It was sadness and bliss
All that life offers.
And it made me realize
That life is all at all times.
Made things seem so much better
Over a cigarette in cold weather.

I also quoted Dylan’s “Visions of Johanna”.
It seemed like the right thing to do.
And then I tried to post another song
Linked, because it reminded me of
The song on the radio, though different
I could swear it had Gerschwin’s blessing.
Here’s a sample:
“Once again, packed like frozen food and battery hens
Think of all the starving millions
Don’t talk politics and don’t throw stones
Your royal highnesses

Well of course I’d like to sit around and chat
Well of course I’d like to stay and chew the fat
Well of course I’d like to sit around and chat
But someone’s listening in.”

“Once again” is how the lost post began, and I will end it once again.
