‘Bout had a heart attack
looking at my clock
Dead-set tired.
Looking not too far back
’twas quite a show
watchin Aimee and Jaguar.
Like lovers intwinned
damn near lost my mind
At shortened, mornin’s wake.

Waltzing carriage’s wheels
Turn to a world spinning
All I see is red veins.
Throbing window pain view
Dizzying circus’ three-rings
Dead man if I miss my cue.

ben here. and liking the second part…i always think it’s cool when poetry can explicitly evoke feelings that you can’t “normally” summarize. red vein’d eyeballs in springtime.. what a time to be self-actualized..
